Our mission is to lead individuals into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them for service to God and humanity.
Our Core Values
We value Bible-centered preaching /teaching
We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, immutable, authoritative Word of God. We strive, therefore, to preach and teach the Bible as God’s Word and the trustworthy rule for belief and behavior (II Timothy 3:16-4:2).
We value servant leadership
We believe that church leaders are, above all, servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. We give ourselves to the highest good for our brothers and sisters in Christ and the community. We also recognize that servant leaders are to watch over our souls and that spirit-filled, godly pastors are an invaluable asset of the church (Matthew 20:25-28; Hebrews 13:17).
We value people
We recognize the eternal value that God places on every person and commit ourselves to love and care for others as humans created in His image. We seek to fulfill Christ’s great commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves and to love one another as Christ loves us (Mark 12:31; John 13:34-35).
We value Christian education for all ages
We believe that understanding scripture is a catalyst for transforming, enhancing, and growing lives; therefore we are committed to the ministry of Christian Education as an indispensable, foundational ministry that must undergird all other ministries of the church (II Timothy 3:14-17; Psalms 1, 119; Nehemiah 8:8).
We value financial responsibility
We believe that believers are stewards of God’s resources. Stewardship describes the response of Christians to God’s gracious gifts. While biblical stewardship is broader than the practice of giving money to the church, much of Jesus’ teachings and the example of the early church suggest financial responsibility is an important element of stewardship. We recognize that giving may be one of the most tangible expressions of our faith. We believe Christians should give generously, consistently, and proportionately to the local church as God’s instrument to continue His earthly ministry (Malachi 3:10; Luke 16:1-14; 19:11-27; II Corinthians 9:6-8).
We value strong families
We are committed to supporting the development and nurturing of the family, which we see as the basic social unit of society. The family serves as a foundational institution established by God through a man and woman so that religious faith can be nurtured through parental example and teachings (Ephesians 5:21-33; Colossians 3:18-21).
We value evangelism
We believe that Christ demonstrated His great love for the lost and has commissioned His church to follow His example of pursuing, winning, and making disciples of all men (Luke 19:10; John 20:21; II Corinthians 5:14-20).
We value Christian discipleship
We believe that Christ’s command to “make disciples” is the mission of the church. Our primary goal is to equip the church for this work and fulfill this commission of developing mature followers of Christ (Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:12).
We value intercessory prayer
We believe that prayer is our most fundamental demonstration of worship and dependence on the Lord. We believe the primary purpose of prayer is for fellowship with God; however, it is also a means through which God executes His will among His people. Hence, we sustain every ministry in continuous personal and corporate prayer, centered in adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication (Matt 6:9-15; 7:7-11; 9:38; Luke 18:1; Philippians 4:5-7).
We value praise & worship
We believe that we are created to glorify God and that an expression of this is our acknowledgement of His supreme value and worth in our personal lives and in the corporate, contemporary praise and worship of the church (Acts 2:47; Ephesians 5:18-20; Psalm 150).
