The Discipleship Division is responsible for the overall development, administration, and management of the educational and developmental ministries of the church. This division oversees,  plans, develops and implements effective discipleship strategies that equip individuals for the work of the ministry.  The Spiritual Formation Process begins in this division.  The goal of the Spiritual Formation Process is to systematically develop and mature believers and equip them for service to God and humanity. Spiritual Formation includes Assimilation, Sunday School, Discipleship Classes, Small Group Studies, Leadership Institute, Youth Team and Children’s Church.
 
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  Matt. 28:19-20 (NIV)
 
Division Strategy
• Create additional Bible study opportunities for all age levels

• Through Assimilation, initiate new converts and new members into the beginning stages of the spiritual growth process and integrate them into the life of
the church

• Introduce members to the fundamentals of practicing spiritual disciplines

• Encourage members to participate in discipleship courses that are designed to help disciples discover what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and the commitment that is involved

• Oversee, educate, coordinate, minister to, and communicate to the youth of our church

• Provide a curriculum that is specifically designed to minister to children and youth

Super Saturday and Right-Hand of Fellowship

Date:  September 22, 2018

Time:  9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Location:  1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield Campus - Youth Sanctuary

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This course provides new members with an opportunity to complete their five week New Members Orientation in one day.  New members will also receive the Right-hand of Fellowship and a special gift.

The event will help individuals discover the vision, values, and mission of Mount Calvary.  New Members will also gain a greater  understanding of our statement of belief, how we are structured and the ordinances of a Baptist Church.
